幼少期より、街の風景や何気ない日常の中にある「美しい瞬間」に惹かれる。

日常の中でふと目にする光、影、雨、夕暮れ、古い建物、人の気配などを独自の視点で切り取り、写真表現を始める。

都市の中に残るノスタルジックな風景や、時間の経過を感じさせる場所を歩きながら撮影を続け、次第に「記録する写真」から「記憶を写す写真」へと表現を広げていく。

現在は、ストリートフォトグラフィーを中心に、モノクローム、シネマティック、抽象的な光と影の表現などにも取り組む。

何気ない日常の一瞬を、映画のワンシーンのように切り取り、見る人それぞれの記憶や感情を呼び起こすことをテーマとしている。

日本の都市や路地、駅、古い建物、季節の風景などを舞台に、懐かしさと現代的な感覚が交差する独自の世界観を追求。

現在は日本を拠点に作品を発表し、国内だけでなく海外にも向けて、写真を通じて日本の日常と美意識を発信している。

それが、kamikoの写真表現である。

Since childhood, I have been drawn to the “beautiful moments” found in cityscapes and the casual details of everyday life.

I began my journey in photography by capturing, through my unique perspective, the light, shadows, rain, twilight, old buildings, and the presence of people that I happen to notice in my daily life.

While walking through nostalgic scenes lingering in the city and places that evoke the passage of time, she continued to take photographs, gradually expanding her expression from “photography that documents” to “photography that captures memories.”

Currently, while focusing on street photography, she also explores monochrome, cinematic styles, and abstract expressions of light and shadow.

Her theme is to capture fleeting moments of everyday life—like scenes from a movie—to evoke the memories and emotions of each viewer.

Using Japanese cities, alleys, train stations, old buildings, and seasonal landscapes as her backdrop, she pursues a unique worldview where nostalgia and a contemporary sensibility intersect.

Currently based in Japan, she presents her work both domestically and internationally, sharing Japanese daily life and aesthetic sensibilities through her photography.

“Capturing the fleeting moments in everyday life that no one notices.”

That is the essence of kamiko’s photographic expression.
