Photo Book #01は、その個展に展示した作品を収めた一冊です。

壁に掛かった写真は、会期が終われば仕舞われてしまいます。

けれど一冊の本になれば、誰かの本棚に残り、好きなときに開いてもらえる。

展示の記録であると同時に、作品そのものが手元に残る形にしたくて、この写真集を作りました。

私にとって写真は、瞬間を描く絵画のようなものです。

夕景の光、雨上がりの街、人の気配。

ノスタルジックな空気を帯びた一瞬を、シネマティックな一枚に仕上げています。

この本に収めたのも、そんな「記憶に残したい瞬間」ばかりです。

画面で見る写真と、紙で見る写真は、やっぱり違います。

ページをめくる速度で、ゆっくり味わってもらえたら嬉しいです。

In August 2026, I held my first solo exhibition, "2026 Photo Exhibition #01," at Kamadonoshita no Haimade Gallery in Wakayama City.

Photo Book #01 collects the works shown in that exhibition.

Photographs on a wall are put away when an exhibition ends.

As a book, they can stay on someone's shelf, and be opened whenever they like.

I made this book so the works themselves could remain in people's hands, as well as serving as a record of the exhibition.

To me, photography is like a painting that depicts a moment — evening light, streets after rain, the presence of people, all wrapped in a nostalgic atmosphere, finished as cinematic frames.

Every image in this book is a moment I wanted to keep.

Photographs on paper feel different from photographs on a screen.

I hope you enjoy turning the pages slowly.
